Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.

~ Margaret Cousins

After every ceremony I give my clients a feedback sheet. I ask the following questions:

  • Did I provide the service you expected after our initial conversation ?
  • Did you feel the ceremony was “yours”?
  • Did I conduct myself in a professional manner?
  • Would you recommend me to others?

The quotes on this page were taken from the responses to those questions and from Thankyou cards I have received over the years.

I have plenty more in my brag book which I am very happy to show you :)

A few of my testimonials:

It was AMAZING!!!The ceremony was personal and I felt it was 'ours'. I wanted a wedding ceremony that was interesting, romantic, memorable and touching - it was this and so much more. Everyone was very interested in our ceremony as they knew we were not having a traditional wedding & Tamara pulled it off flawlessly. And EVERYONE could hear her. Lots of friends said it was the most romantic ceremony they have ever seen.

Tamara was great. She understands the dynamics of a wedding party and had lots of information to offer. The venue had set up wrong, and Tamara saw this and instantly got the seating set up right! Life saver :)

Tamara is great at settling nerves, she calmed me down at the rehearsal, I was shaking and freaking out a bit - she is a smooth operator!

Myself and Daniel will remember our ceremony always <3 <3 <3

Ashlee & Daniel

Hi Tamara,
since our wedding we have honeymooned in Bali and taken the family around Australia in a caravan; a journey lasting 9mths. It was such a wonderful experience and has bonded our little family even further since we hand-fasted under your watchful eye and guiding words of wisdom.

Our wedding day was without a doubt the best day of Andrea's and my life, thanks in no small part to you. The memories that were created from that day live on and always will.

Thank you so much for being our celebrant and being such a meaningful part of our wedding day and marriage.

Andrea and Bruce

Medieval shenanigans and romance would describe this wedding at home in rural WA. Everyone dressed the part, including me, and there were stocks and a jester and sword fights. The bride arrived on horseback and the groom fought for her hand. The children of the bride were involved in the hand-fasting and then everyone jumped the broom.

Dear Tamara,

Thank you so much for coming and being our celebrant on our special day.

You made our day truly special and we will never forget it. You made us feel so calm and relaxed. I was so nervous but as soon as we started I felt fine, you made our ceremony and vows so personal and put so much work into them we will be forever grateful!

Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect and I got many comments on how good the ceremony was. My Grandpop always complains he can't hear weddings and he said he loved mine cause he could hear every word and you didn't even have a microphone!1

Thanks again Tamara

Lots of Love,

Shelley and Wade

As a very private couple Shelley and Wade definitely do not enjoy the lime light!! They decided they would be most comfortable on the beach with the water lapping on their feet - and it was cold!!

To Dear Tamara,

Adam and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for such a wonderful wedding ceremony that was well beyond our expectations.

We will always remember the day being absolutely perfect and thank you for the important part you played in it.

We have had so much positive feedback from all who attended as it was such a positive and loving ceremony . The children felt truly special and involved and we will always look back on it as the best day of our lives.

Paige and Adam

Paige and Adam wanted to involve their children in the ceremony, so each child added a ribbon to their hand fasting. The children each selected the colour of the ribbon to represent a quality they wanted tied into their new family. We stood in the shade of a huge ivy covered tree in the Swan Valley.

The ceremony was everything we hoped for. We received a great deal of feedback from guests ho concurred re:the ceremony was unique, personal, heartwarming and inspiring.

You captured our feelings about our family and our relationship perfectly.

thank you again, you go above and beyond your celebrant duty to make it unique and memorable xxx

To Dearest Tamara,

We wanted to say such a huge thank you for giving us such an awesome day!! Our wedding ceremony was so much more than we dreamed we will never forget the absolutely wonderful job you did. Our guests commented that it was the best ceremony they had been to. thank you for making it so warm and for making everyone feel a part of it. Thank you for touching our lives and making us man and wife woooo hooo!!

Stace & Dec

Stacey and Declan were married at Caversham House. They met in Ireland where Declan was an airforce pilot. We borrowed swords from Pierce Airbase so we could have a sword salute as they kissed. Stacey kissed everyone on her way down the aisle and there was lots of laughter throughout the ceremony :)

Hi Tamara,

Finally herewith are a few photos of our wedding day. Thank you so very, very much for making our day so special. I really don't think we could have found a more sincere, compassionate and intuitive celebrant than yourself. It all went along so well thanks mainly to your help and assistance. I was quite astounded by the number of teary eyes in the crowd as we were saying our vows, which again we can't thank you enough for helping us with as they honestly were words we would have used if we could have thought them up ourselves!

We are sorry we never got to say goodbye to you, but I'm sure as you know we sort of got carried away with all the well wishers and paparazzi. We hope to keep in touch with you in the future and will certainly be recommending you to anyone who is in need of a celebrant.

Once again, many many thanks.
Kind regards

Teresa & Peter

Peter and Teresa were married on a boat in Mosman Bay. The boat was packed with family and friends. Their ceremony included a candle lighting and readings to include lots of people. We all enjoyed a champagne after the ceremony and then Granny and I alighted at the jetty. The boat then cruised up river and the celebrations raged into the wee small hours.

Dearest Tamara,

Thankyou for making our wedding day a very special one.

This amazing thing happened, our ceremony was everything we didn't know we wanted! It was intimate and personal; simply us. but it was never simple.

We have had so many friends and relatives tell us that our exact ceremony was the best one they've ever experienced, because it was engaging, moving and they could recognise us in it. You somehow managed to make it all about us, but including our loved ones, creating an intimacy with more than 60people. that can only be classified as extraordinary.

Our ceremony a paramount of our day, one we will think back on with nothing but chills down our spines and smiles on our faces.

Tak er kun et fattigt ord;
Thanks is but a poor word.

Jason and Sara

Jason was from Perth and Sara from Denmark where they now live. They were married under the peppermint trees on Monument Hill in Fremantle on a hot summer day. We made a few references to Danish traditions in the ceremony, which Sara's parents and guests from Denmark appreciated.

Hi Tamara,

Several people have commented that your manner and regard for us on the day made them feel like everything said by you came from Alice and I. That care of the ceremony we all crafted together is greatly appreciated.

And your spontaneous suggestion on the day made our ceremony even better than we had planned or hoped.

Thank you xx

Alice & Malcolm

Occasionally a ceremony can be enhanced by seeing an opportunity in the moment and having the courage to go for it!

Dear Tamara,

Loads of gratitude for all the time, love and thoughtfulness that was put into our ceremony. You were intouch with the essence of Tommy and I and you created our ceremony through your heartfelt words and energy.

Many Blessings

This exillerizzfull wedding was held in the wagyl circle in Booyeembara Park, Fremantle. The sun shone, the birds sang and everyone dressed like rainbows.
